JDM Body Differences
These are differences in the JDM MK3 Supras that can be used to determine
your supra year regardless of what some noob wrote on your rego ticket.
I Have found about 1 out of 15 supras has incorrect years on their registration, so here's how to tell what year yours is
(just as a sidenote these body differences may not apply to northern hemisphere, most of what is shown here is what japan sent to the southern hemisphere )

88 Supra Bodies
Radio aerial is still in back windscreen
Still has a coin slot
Window switches had ridges/edges in the buttons
Indicator/wiper stalk had ridges in the ends
Body moulding looks similar to this on jdm models, all that varies is a two tone trim, top and bottom are grey while the center is black
Windscreen Washer jets are still the small stubby type
88 supras change back to narrowbody
White is narrowbody
Front Bumper has a straight through section where the indicators go and has the stock black grill stretching through the center between the nosecone & bumper, the black grill from the center of the bumper is removable
Foglights are rectangular (Imports are yellow, nz & aus new are white)
Indicator Lenses are quite long (imports are amber, nz & aus new half clear/half amber)

The nosecone badge is...

Taillights are as below with metal centers
(license plate lights are to either side of the plate, nz new are below the plate)
Rear Spoiler is as shown in pic above, our "3rd" brake light
is usually an aftermarket one fitted to the rear windscreen
Steering wheels matched the colour of the interior, cruise control is housed in the spoke below the center of the wheel
Altho burgundy is not the best colour the previous owners of my car thought that this
steering wheel cover was very sexy! :o
Handbrake handles were also colour matched to the interior as you can see above (very burgundy)
