Hey suprra girl, nice car & website, wow it must keep you busy
As I am still in the process of building my car (3.5 years later, mostly lazy) I can easily apprecitate how much work you have put into yours, very, very cool
It's one thing to pay someone to work on your car but to do it yourself, awesome.
By the way I think that you should declare war on the maroon interior bits
Keep it up, cheers

Thanks alot, i appreciate your comments :) Mine has taken about that long as well haha.
Oh and the maroon is being sorted ;) It had war declared on it about 2 years ago lol, the seats are the most expensive part to recover so they were waiting till last hehe :)
Again thanks

I'm looking to buy myself a new drift car. I don't want to go with a traditional 240sx. From what I hear Supra's are easy to get sideways, but don't make good drift cars. Too heavy is one of the things I hear, that doesn't bother me much. I've also heard something about the construction of the oil pan making the engine oil deprived when you get sideways. That concerns me a little.
You seem to be an expert when it comes to Supras, so I thought I'd ask you.
suprra_girl Tuesday, 25 July 2006 22:11 Host: 222-152-8-207.jetstream.xtra.co.nz
yep you're better off either getting a custom pan made or a dry sump setup... as far as oil mods and drifting i'm not overly experienced, a really good place to ask about the oil pan mods would be www.supramania.com. They can give you firm info :) good luck and see you on sm ;)

sweet supra do u have any ideas where i can find a m seris bell housing want to change the old slush box 2 a manual
suprra_girl Saturday, 10 June 2006 23:36 Host: 222-153-186-176.jetstream.xtra.co.nz
hot damnnn that is a nice supra ;) hmm bout the best i could suggest is have a look on www.supramania.com or www.supraforums.com in the for sale sections and price up how much it would be to get one here... they're extremely common over there so you won't pay through the nose for it, which gearbox are you planning to run as i think the two bellhousings are different (r154 and w58) and what do ya wanna change to a manual for??? ;) we all know slushboxes are faster

hey, just brought myself a ma70 supra...managed to find a mint 1 owner 1990 with all the bells and whistles and now am looking to do a few mods.
what is the 3" elbow replacement and wwould it fit onto a standard exhaust??
also have you got any idea about the best lowereing springs to put into these cars as you can't buy super king springs for these.
Any advice would be appreciated
Thanks
Dave
suprra_girl Sunday, 9 April 2006 23:01 Host: 222-153-42-212.jetstream.xtra.co.nz
the 3" elbow is a replacement of the stock elbow, yes it will fit on to the standard exhaust but gains won't be overly noticeable until you upgrade the exhaust, here lowering springs aren't the easiest to find for the a70 supra, i believe eibach does them but not sure who a dealer may be, i'll post up on the front page of my site if i find someone here with springs :)

Hey :), have you tried doing a diagnostic? In what way is it sluggish? Have you checked for boost leaks or vacuum leaks? If you would like further email help please contact me using the link on the left :)

hey love ya supra, I purchaced a 1991 nz new, supra 3 ltr single turbo with 110kms orignal its a real minter has been garaged all its life and its silver which I love, however it is an auto I was windering where I could get a manual conversion it runs real well with the auto but manual would be a lot more fun it has a gizmo boost controler and goes real hard once on 15psi, love the SUPRA THEY ROCK,,, Booo NISSAN,,
suprra_girl Sunday, 19 February 2006 23:09 Host: 222-153-164-143.jetstream.xtra.co.nz
your best bet for manual conversions would more than likely be www.trademe.co.nz or advertise in the wanted section on www.supras.org.nz..... what do you plan on doing with the car? autos are superior on the drag strip however track racing the manual is far more suited.... and glad you saw the light and bought a supra!!!
