7MGTE SWAP INTO GA70 TOYOTA SUPRA
With this swap we had a whole ma70 supra which we could get all the parts required from, other people that have done the swap have spliced and diced on wiring and converted their fuseboxes and other wiring to mate to their existing harness, we didn't want to play with wiring much so we decided to do a full body & engine harness swap so it is basically all just like factory :)
First thing to do is get rid of the 1ggte engine and harness, we unscrewed the glovebox and removed the factory 1ggte ecu.
Then came the fun part, we were swapping in the entire harnesses so the dash and center console had to be removed so we could access all wiring harnesses, to actually remove the dash and disconnect all wiring and figuring out what was holding it in etc took us a full day
In full detail as follows (well kinda full detail)

Blue arrows are pointing at locations of screws
So first... remove the black dash/radio/shift lever surround
usually has one screw in by the handbrake
take out the ashtray and undo the 4 screws in there

and the screw beside the steering wheel closest to the center console, on the underside of the dash you will find one screw... so in total you should have removed 6 screws
pull from the edge of the dash panel on the handbrake/back side of the car, as you lift start pulling it up a bit, if your shifter is in the way i suggest you move it so it's not ;) Pull at the rest of the dash panel, careful that the dash cluster doesn't get damaged in the process :)
Once it's loose and off the dashboard unplug all connections then put it aside
Removal of the center console is also required, you will find two screws in either side at the back, if you slide your seats forward you will gain easy access to these screws
now put your seats back again and you will find one screw in the center console, once this one is undone unscrew the screw which is in the center pop up console, now unscrew the two screws at the end up by the center of the dashboard

the center console should now be removable. As you pull the console undo all plugs going to lumbar switches and tems if you have it, now remove the console.
Also unplug all plugs up by the shift lever if you have them, generally two clear coloured plugs and 1 blue one (auto i think)
Remove the plastic cover which houses your foglight switch and cruise control/coin slot, it should have one screw located under it just behind the light dimmer, once you have it unscrewed gently pull on the bottom and top to release the clips, remember to unplug all plugs connected

Now remove the plasic surrounds from the steering column, i think there are about 6 screws holding those in, should be 4 pieces altogether
Next up, undo the plastic cover underneath the steering column, it should have 6 screws, when you have unscrewed them all pull gently on the front and you will find the rear doesn't drop... grab the back of it and YANK ;)

Now undo the 2 17mm nuts on the underside of the steering column so that it will drop down and give you room later for removing the dash. (pic will be added soon)
Now remove the dash cluster, unscrew the 6 screws in the black dash cover

you can see where the boost gauge in the above picture is bolted, undo all of those screws and then unscrew the 2 screws on either side at the bottom of that piece, wiggle that piece till you get it right out, be careful of the bits where you unscrewed it from the ends as they break easily
Now you are ready to remove the dash cluster itself, you will see 3 white clips attached to the top of the dash which are screwed in, and also 1 screw in the bottom middle dash, unscrew all of these and gently pull the dash, the white clips are very common for breaking also, as you pull the dash you will need to undo the wiring harness from the back of it, once the harness is unplugged put the dash in a safe place till you are ready to put it back in
Now with the dash out, in the glovebox compartment undo the hac sensor, glovebox switch and a little two pin plug located in the corner at the top of the glovebox compartment, if you have abs remove the ecu and unplug the two connectors, also undo and move as far back towards the car the gear shift lever for the auto, or for manual remove shifter completely.
Remove climate control unit and behind there you should find two screws which hold the dashboard to the steel bar behind. Also in the dash hole, find any bolts or wiring harness clips which hold the wiring harness to the dashboard. Pull all harness thru so that they are now behind the dashboard, so as you pull the dashboard the harness will stay behind. You will find a harness going thru from the center of the dashboard through a gap into the glovebox compartment, pull this harness through to the back also.
Double check there are no more plugs or wiring clips holding the harness to the dashboard. Once this is confirmed, START YANKING, pull the dashboard forward but gently, also as you pull forward make sure you pull the bottom of the dash up and toward you first to clear the auto shifter if needed, make sure there aren't any plugs still holding on, keep checking as you pull the dash. Keep pulling till she's out and put the dashboard safely out of the sun and don't store other things on it :)
Unplug all wiring harnesses you can find, next you need to undo the plastic wheel cover in the guard/fender which is the same side as the glovebox side, follow the harness under the fender/guard and undo all plugs or earths required so you can pull the harness back into the cabin.
To be continued....
