Installing 89+ USDM Mirrors into your JDM Chassis

First.. why United States Domestic market Mirrors?

Because here in New Zealand they're highly unique and have the heated mirror option :D
They do not look the same as ours, also they don't retract, more aerodynamic for fast speeds ;)
Being that all over the world our chassis is still A70, these mirrors will bolt on just like stock :)

Now on to the wiring :)

The USDM Mirrors have a 5 pin plug whereas our JDM plugs have 7 pins
Now you can do this one of two ways:

USDM Plug	JDM Plug
Pins 2,3,4 = Mirror direction	Pins 3,4,5 = Mirror direction

1. If you get the male plugs (cut from the car body) with the mirrors you can get a needle and put it inside each pin on your car and flick back the little plastic nog and remove each of the 7 pins from your body plug, now insert the middle three pins into the USDM Plug (you will need to remove the pins from the usdm plug or you can splice the wires in. Make sure the middle three pins are in order that they were removed and joined to the other in the same order

2. If you didn't get the male plug for the USDM Mirrors you will need to get that needle and flick all the nogs back in your JDM mirrors & the USDM mirrors and install your JDM 7 Pin plug onto the USDM Mirrors. Place all the wires from the USDM mirrors into the 7 pin JDM plug in the middle so you should have 2 free slots, 1 at either end of the plug, so the pins you should be using are: 23456.

3. On your car you now need to remove or cut and tape the extra 4 wires that would have gone to your original 7 pin plug, so you would then only be inserting wiring colours as follows: Left Hand Side - Light green w/ black stripe, Light green w/ red stripe & Light green. Right Hand Side - Brown w/ black stripe, Light green w/ red stripe & Light green w/black stripe. (Remember to keep the order they were in)

4. So now you should have the USDM mirrors with a 7 pin plug instead of 5 (if you didn't get the matching plug) or a JDM chassis with a 5pin plug (if you got the matching plug), you should have 5 wires in the USDM mirrors and 3 in the chassis plug

For now your mirrors will have direction movement, mirror heaters are yet to be written up, will have it asap :)
